Tuesday, August 26th, 2008You have to be very careful when you go about restoring antique lamps if you want that lamp around for any kind of value purpose. Sometimes, the most valuable antique is the antique that was never touched and has all of its original beauty to including the wear and tear of the lamp. The wear and tear shows the age of the lamp which, in turn, could cause for a more beautiful piece. There are many collectors that want in it's original state and do not want any type of modern materials put on the piece. They want it as original as possible.
