On the water at dawn

Saturday, December 20th, 2008

I went fishing for the first time last week and I was really surprised when my friend told me that we had to get up very early in the morning so we could actually be fishing as the sun came up. It was quite a shock to have to get up so early but one of the things that I really liked was the type of Tritoon pontoon boat that my friend had bought, because it looks so stylish that I really wanted one for myself. At the moment it is a little bit out of my price range but I’m sure that sometime I will be able to afford one and that I will be able to go fishing on my own.

The small thing

Tuesday, December 16th, 2008

One of the best things I ever did last year was to take a look at the state of my bathroom and decide to refurbish it. As part of the big change I decided that I would look at installing a Small Japanese Soaking Tub, since I really like the oriental look and I was sure it would really make my bathroom look great. There was a certain amount of expense, but now it has all been finished I can honestly say that it was all worth every penny.

Transitions Help With Computer Glare

Wednesday, December 3rd, 2008

Just recently, I went to the optometrist and had my eyes checked. My prescription had changed enough that my doctor recommended that I purchase new glasses. I now have eye insurance through my place of work and have always wanted to try the Transitions optic nerve sunglasses. Anyhow, I purchased them and was happy to learn how much the polarization helped me at work. I am working on the computer all day. Between the computer screen and the fluorescent lights, my eyes were always subjected to a glare and were irritated and watery. The Transition lenses have helped immensely with that. I hardly even notice any eye strain at all!
