Should I be wary of buying a sewing machine at Costco?

What is the closest US Costco location to Toronto, Ontario?

I know the metro Detroit locations are around a 4:30 drive away. With the Costco website having friendly maps, only suburb maps, it is hard to determine if any of the Central New York, upstate Pennsylvania or eastern Ohio locations are closer to Toronto thank this using a Niagara or Buffalo border crossing? Is it worth it to shop at costco, even if you have to take a cab home?
