If they are trying to have you cover the warranty for something that is out of warranty, depending on your contract, you may have the right to refuse to cover it.

Talk to your lawyer about it (you do have a lawyer, right?). He/she will be much better position to advise you what your legal rights are.

They can accept returns for as long as they want, you don't have to reimburse, replace or repair outside of a year.

Sorry, don't understand what you are asking here. If Costo honors warranty longer than you do as a vendor then your reputation is upheld by Costco longer than they have to.

And then they want to recover the cost from you? Look at your contract with them and see what it says. Make sure you understand it fully. Ask to have a meeting to discuss this. If you can't resolve it, you will need to get a lawyer.

They can accept returns for as long as they want...but can't make your company reimburse them.
If you want to 'report legal action' you need a lawyer.
